JESSICA GENDRON WILLIAMS NAMED CEO OF PHIRED UP PRODUCTIONS
Carmel, Ind. – Phired Up Productions, a company dedicated to the growth of college fraternities and sororities, announced Jessica Gendron Williams as the company's new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on Thursday. Gendron Williams will lead the growing company as it continues to provide innovative, fun, and results-producing education, research, and coaching services to the fraternal community.
Gendron Williams joined Phired Up in 2006. She has co-authored two books focused on attracting a high quantity of high quality members to Greek organizations, she created the Social Excellence message, she has taught tens of thousands of sorority women how to recruit through a values-based relationship-oriented approach, and she has proven herself as a major leader of the fraternal industry. Most recently, she has served Phired Up as the company's overall Vice President, where she has overseen the company's continued year-over-year growth since its inception.
Earlier this year an article was released celebrating Jessica's accomplishments in the industry, including comments from prominent inter/national fraternal movement leaders. Read more here about how Gendron Williams' career has led to this major milestone.
In an official statement from Gendron Williams, she said, "There's no replacing Josh and Matt and the strong foundation they've built for us over our first 11 years as a company. I'm so very honored they've chosen me to carry the torch forward. As I look toward the future of Phired Up and our part in advancing the fraternal movement, I'm humbled and excited about what we can do. Phired Up will continue to take bold steps to further our mission of helping fraternities and sororities grow -– in new and innovative ways. I'm looking forward leading our team forward and helping to advance fraternity and sorority."
"Jessica represents the future of Phired Up," said Josh Orendi, a co-founder of the company. "Matt [Mattson, co-founder] and I will take a step back to focus on new ways to serve the industry, but we will still be here to deliver training and follow Jessica's lead. She'll bring new energy, vision, and creativity to the helm of Phired Up. Simply put, we're awed by her accomplishments, her drive, and the potential the company has to make an even larger impact under her leadership."
Matt Mattson joked, "Look for the giant ad in this month's upcoming Association of Fraternity/Sorority Advisors publication, Perspectives. Josh and I wanted to shout this as loudly as we could to the world, and I think Jess might be a little embarrassed by the huge picture of her."
As for the company's two founders, Orendi and Mattson will shift to roles focused on creative business development opportunities. Both will continue to serve Phired Up's clients as they always have in their new support roles.
“The whole Phired Up team is incredibly excited and proud to have Jessica as our new CEO,” said Woody Woodcock who is assuming a new title at Phired Up as well – Head Coach. “She’s a strong, confident, focused leader who has already done so much to shape the fraternity and sorority world. She will absolutely make us better. Our team is eager to improve and grow so that we can help fraternities and sororities improve and grow. Jess is the right person to lead us to whatever is next, and I am personally thrilled by this announcement.”
